Though in all four Gospels, Jesus' location is mentioned at different times Jesus happens to be in the place called Golgotha for his own crucifixion. "Golgotha" is Hebrew and is translated to mean "Place of the Skull" In Matthew 27:33, Jesus was already in Golgotha as well as Mark 15:22. In Luke 23:33 they had to arrive to Golgotha. Finally, in John 19:17, Jesus carries his cross to Skull.

Another similarity found in all four of the Gospels is that right there beside Jesus, while he was on nailed onto the cross, were two other criminals or revolutionaries as the text says. One of them being on his right side, and the other on his left side. In Matthew 27: 38, Mark 15:27, Luke 23:33, and John 19:18, it literally almost has the same translation. There is absolutely no difference of interpretation being used to explain how the two were beside him and Jesus being in the middle.
